Atlantic Station Real Estate and Luxury Homes
Atlantic Station is billed as a “walking community,” which means that residents can use the wide sidewalks to walk to work, or to head out and shop, eat or enjoy the outdoor spaces.
Once completed, Atlantic Station will encompass 12 million square feet of residential, office and retail space, and 11 acres of public parks. It will provide homes for 10,000 people and employment for 30,000 people, and will attract millions more with excellent shopping and entertainment experiences. More than 5,000 homes are currently in development.
Some of the housing options in Atlantic Station include garden apartments and high-rise condominiums, both of which will overlook a picturesque, two-acre lake with loads of green space. Atlanta’s famous monument, the Millennium Gate, will serve as a backdrop to this community.
Residents of Atlantic Station may also purchase one of the community’s future single-family townhomes, detached homes or lofts, which are located above the bustling retail district.
Atlantic Station is currently about half-completed. Once completed, this community will feature three, distinct areas, which include the District, the Commons and the Village. The District will encompass the town center, which will include offices, retail and residential lofts; the Commons will consist mainly of residential towers; and the Village will consist of low-rise housing and several, anchor stores.
Some of the large retailers that will call Atlantic Station home include IKEA, Target, Dillards and Publix. The development will house a variety of “notable” retailers which offer unique and one-of-a-kind shopping experiences.
Upper-end housing in Atlantic Station can exceed well beyond $1 million, although many of the detached, single-family homes are priced in the $350,000 to $500,000 range.
